The Christ In Christmas

It is interesting to understand the different cycles of the year, the seasons within those cycles, why they came to be, and what they really mean. Every season of the year has its cycle and within it are certain days that are important, that have a statement of purpose. Within the seasons, the holidays play a major role.

The cycle in which we find ourselves is the winter cycle. The upcoming Christmas holiday is very unique, very special, and very misunderstood. Christmas has been converted into a holiday where the giving of gifts is a part of the assumed condition of the event, sometimes to excess. It is more than just a celebration of gift giving.

This day is set aside to recognize the birth of the Christ. The history of the Christmas celebration has been considerably misunderstood. It has been misconstrued to be in part a worship of the physical being of Jesus, developing rituals and other forms of attachment to his outer form that, to a degree, hinder the understanding of what the birth of the Christ truly is. From the human perspective, the worship of the physical is part of the response of needing a physical image or object to hold onto in one’s consciousness in order to make a connection that is tangibly evident from the three dimensional world.

There is much behind and within the concept of Christmas that is much deeper than many experience or appreciate. It is more than the story of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. There is much more that is symbolic of this day in terms of the implantation of the consciousness of the Christ into the earthly experience.

Consider the imagery of the one known as Jesus of Nazareth. Consider the impact that this imagery has had on the history of Earth for the past 2000 years. There is considerable energy poured into worshipping the form and the physical nature of Jesus. Consider what is behind the form. When you visualize or see the form of the one known as Jesus, do you simply see a man, a body, or a symbol of a body? Do you see a life force that flowed in and through every cell of the being known as Jesus, with the purity of intent, purpose, and motivation that was the composition of this soul? Do you see the alignment of energy flowing in and through this one where there was the physical statement made of the absolute oneness of creation? Do you see the statement being made of the unity of all creation?

When the Christ is born, the Christ represents the fullness of the Love and Light of the Consciousness of Creation. The Christ Light is the Light of Creation put into motion, form and action. It is brought into the very essence of every cell and atom of consciousness and creation. It is always present. All souls walking the earth carry within them the Christ Light. The birth of the Christ is a statement of the unfoldment of consciousness to where, within the soul, there is recognition, acknowledgment, identification with, understanding of, and an absolute knowing that the soul is an emanating ray and spark of the Divine. The birth of the Christ is a statement of the perfection of the Christ Light within the creative experience.

The master teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, was indeed the fulfillment and embodiment of the very Christ energy of the universe. There have been many Christed souls in the history of earth. Each has brought a vibration of a certain essence of the Creator into focus and into the thought and memory process of the earthly experience. Jesus was one of the most recent. He came at a time when there was a need to make a major implantation of the Christ Consciousness into the earth in order to initiate an age that would take approximately 2000 years to come into the fullness of understanding what really occurred.

This is the energy of what is called the Christ. It is the pure energy of Creation in total alignment with all manifestation including the three dimensional aspects of the mind, the physical, and the emotions. The birth of the Christ is the masculine and feminine principles of creation coming together as one to form the androgynous light being called the Christ. That is the Christ energy. This is the statement that was made. This is the inner meaning of Christmas.
