Each experience brings you greater knowledge about yourself and the world. This allows you to move forward quickly through many situations and creates a base of experience with which you view the world. You do not, for example, have to re-learn how to start a car each time you get behind the wheel. This process works well for you in the material world but it hinders you in the spiritual. The material world teaches you that everything is the same; the spiritual world challenges you to see everything as unique. The Shift requires that you have a beginner's mind, where you anticipate nothing and are prepared to learn everything.
Everything that you have learned and know up to this point is valid and has created the person you are today. All of your past experience is beneficial in dealing with the material world. But you are all preparing to bring heaven on earth, to blend the material with the spiritual in a new way that creates a different kind of world in which what you learned on the material level will not always work. Now you must see the world as a beginner would, knowing that nothing is as it appears and everything is possible.
Having a beginner's mind challenges you to look at your reality in new ways. You will examine your beliefs about what you think is possible for you, for your life and for the world. While you may know that things unfolded a certain way before, they will no longer do so. How would you feel if you looked at the sky and it was green? You know that the sky is blue, but is it really blue or does it look blue because you believe that is the color it should be? With a beginner's mind, becomes there is no preconceived belief about how it has been or should be. Then everything and anything becomes possible.
Having a beginner's mind erases the doubts and pain of the past. When you start each day as a beginner the past never happened and only the present exists. What a wonderful gift this is for you as you release every reason that caused you to doubt your worth, your power and your abilities. Your beginner's mind will allow a world of limitless possibilities to unfold for you. Each day becomes a true new beginning where everything is possible. This week, look at every aspect of your reality with a beginner's mind, as if you were seeing it for the first time. Feel the joy and the excitement that you did when you first experienced each situation. Focus on the miracles you want to create in your life and remember that with a beginner's mind, everything is possible. |
